Can't print locally when using remote desktop from server

Scenario

  • Windows Server 2008 (remote)
  • Printer installed on local PC

When logged on remotely to the Windows Server 2008 machine via Remote Desktop Connection, despite having the Printers local resource shared, your local printer is still unavailable
